Hey, I'm CruelXTC— A.K.A Tony Welch, some call me Cruel, some call me Tony just don’t call me Anthony that’s for when I’m in trouble. I’m a graphic designer, storyteller, and full-time creative menace. I call it Trip Art—a mashup of surreal doodles, wild color theory, and layered chaos. My work blends the spirit of graffiti, the mind-bend of psychedelia, and the punch of punk. Whether I’m using Sharpies or digital tools, I chase that moment where instinct takes over and the piece starts telling its own story.

I don’t create to impress—I create to express. And sometimes to unsettle. Sometimes to heal. Always to play.

I create with whatever I can grab—Sharpies, pencils, scraps, or digital tools like Adobe Creative Suite. I’ve been freelancing for over a decade, but after losing a long-time job, I decided to go all in and do what I’ve always loved: make cool sh*t. I'm currently studying at Full Sail University, earning my Bachelor’s (and eventually Master’s) in Graphic Design after completing my Associate’s.

Influences? Think MC Escher got lost in a punk rock alley with Dalí, Da Vinci, and Warhol playing poker on a neon table. I vibe with cyberpunk, gothic, and gritty aesthetics with a splash of street-art rebellion.

Beyond the art, I'm also working on a fantasy-meets-cyberpunk novel (can’t say much yet—lawyers and Mimics and secrets, oh my), plus blog posts and merch drops that’ll keep evolving with me. Whether it's commissions, collabs, or something a little off-the-wall... if the price is right, I'm your guy. 😏

Art isn’t just about skill—it’s about fun, expression, and letting your weird flag fly. So color outside the lines, laugh a little, and don’t take yourself too seriously..
